The Vance Cafe closed its doors on
Jan. 25, 2013.
Starting November 2011, young people trained in the cafe—learning food service and workplace skills. YouthAbility provided over 2,200 hours of on-the-job training to these local youth and young adults. We are pleased with the success of this training program, and have seen 25 trainees go on to jobs, back to school and certainly, to more successful lives.
YouthAbility will be working to restart the Food Service Training program in another location.
